The Contender- John McDermott (2014)

This collection of mostly traditional tunes is a stripped down affair featuring John's smooth tenor, me on various guitars, Christine Bougie on lap steel & electric guitar, Maury LaFoy on bass and Eric Robertson on piano.

Shadows In The Light (2013)

This is Kevin's 4th CD that I've been involved with. It was a pleasure to work with such a fine singer, lyricist and songwriter on his latest collection of songs and settings.
I hope it does very well for him!

The album was recorded and mixed at The Drive Shed by John "Beetle" Bailey & assisted by Taylor Kernohan.
Mastered by George Seara.
The cover artwork, "Angel On A Smoke Break" is by Kevin's wife Lisa Dickson.

The musicians are:
Kevin Hutchings- vocals
Jason Fowler- guitars, charango & harmony vocals
Maury LaFoy- bass
Mark Mariash- drums & percussion
Michael Johnston- keyboards
Christine Bougie- lap steel & electric guitar
Sahra Featherstone- harp & violin

This is the second project I've arranged and produced for Room 217, a company dedicated to creating specialized music for use in hospice and palliative care.
Instrumentation is guitar and flute (Les Allt) and vocals by myself and Bev Foster, the founder of Room 217.

Forever Love (2012)

The Old House (2012)

This is a collaborative venture with John McDermott. We each picked some of our favorite songs and recorded them as stripped down as possible.
There are a few new ones on here too: 2 solo guitar pieces and a cover of Warren Zevon's "Don't Let Us Get Sick" sung by moi.
We thought it'd be a good idea to have an album that reflects our latest touring incarnation as either a duo or trio...

This new album for Solitudes features 14 instrumental arrangements of beloved songs by James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Willie Nelson et al. Featuring the lovely playing of Burke Carrol (dobro & pedal steel), Don Reed (violin) and Attila Fias (piano).
And I played the guitar:)

Sunshine On My Shoulders (2012)

On The Bridge You Were Burning (2009)

This is the only album I've done under an alias, in this case "Jay Austin".
I think the marketing department at Reflections didn't think my given name sounded down-home enough so we came up with this moniker.
It's an album of instrumental versions of top-40 country...

Peaceful Country ( Reflections 2006)

David Bradstreet- Lifelines (2006)

A 3-way co-production between myself, David Woodhead & David Bradstreet.
Recorded live-off-the-floor in a few days with minimal overdubs at Ray Montford's Soundhole Studio.

I composed and produced this relaxation album for Avalon. It features guitar, piano, cello & bass.
They gave me the cover while I was writing for "inspiration".

Unwind (Avalon 2006)

D'Arcy Wickham- Feather Fingers (2005)

D'Arcy is one of Toronto's busiest and most successful guitar teachers, in addition to being a very fine songwriter.

This is Blake's first studio album and it was a treat to work on it with him.
Recorded at the now defunct Reaction Studios with Christ Stringer at the board.
Mixed by Keith Mariash at Phase One.

Blake Papsin- Serious Boy (2002)
